Through my research I have seen many articles on the subject of urinary tract infections. I decided to do a UTI Remedy Report review after being sent a copy by the author. I wanted to find out if the strategies within the report were robust enough to deal with even the most painful of attacks and of course, to stop those potential attacks in their tracks at the first sign of a twinge.

First and foremost, we all know that when you have a full-blown infection, what you need is action. The last thing you want is to read a manual which tells you all about urinary tract infections, how they happen and what doesn't work. When you are curled up on the floor in agony, unable to sleep at 3am (as I often was) this is no good at all.

So, I was looking for positive steps you can take to firstly alleviate the pain, which is, in my opinion, the priority. Yes, we all want to learn how to kill off the bacteria and of, course, how to prevent further attacks. However, there and then we need to know what will stop the pain and give us some relief.

The UTI Remedy Report is packed with lots of general information-all of which is useful at the right time. For example, it goes into great detail explaining what causes urinary tract infections, who is at risk, what the symptoms are and what conventional treatments are available. It also explains the impact of your diet on urinary health (I found this a real eye-opener) and which alternative and complementary therapies can be useful.

Within the report, there are details of three natural remedies using surprisingly "everyday" ingredients and if you have these to hand, any one of them might work for you. However, what I found to be the very best aspect and what my UTI Remedy Report review focuses on is the claim that you can be "UTI-Free" within 12 hours.

Now before reading the UTI Remedy Report and completing the review, I wondered how this claim could be made. It seemed very specific and I was intrigued to learn how this could be the case.

I was very surprised to see a specific, 12 hour action plan. This gives you a different step to follow on each hour and is very precise. You are given a list of grocery items to gather up before starting and then off you go.

On hour one, for example, you are told to drink an 8 ounce glass of water and take a certain supplement. Within this first hour, you must also complete another step for fast pain relief. What I really like is that when completing these hourly tasks, a full explanation is given as to exactly why each step will work and why it is done at that particular stage of the 12 hours.

At the end of the 12 hours, and 12 steps later, you should be feeling significantly better, your pain and associated symptoms having gone.

What can I do to remedy my frequent UTI’s?
I need a natural remedy for this. The meds that the physician gave me only worked for 3 weeks.

    • LIL RED says:

Instead of getting meds thru a D.O there are over the counter meds that work.Go to you local pharmacy,or store to get a bottle of ASO.Or find a plain Cranberry pill.Take 1 a day.You may have to continue them depending on why you get frequent uti’s.Also you can drink a variety of cran-berry juicy’s.If you drink a lot of soda, coffee, tea ,ect. you need to cut back some.Add more water and or milk to your daily drink choices.Add more fiber to your diet also.

How do I get rid of this UTI with a home remedy?
I’ve had it for 24 hours already.
I get them all the time after sex why?!!!!!?!?! I do everything I can to prevent them including peeing before and after, showering, cleanliness, but still I get them! UGH
It only happens after sex though :/
    Thanks everyone

    • Alisha says:

It’s normal to get UTI’s from sex because the urethra has to get used to the extra bacteria down there- it’s very sensitive to irritation and bacteria because normally it’s a completely sterile organ. Pure cranberry juice (not cranberry juice cocktail) is supposed to be good for UTI’s but you can only get it from health food stores. Make sure to drink a lot of fluids, and try to stay away from things that dehydrate you like caffeine, sugar, alcohol, etc. The link below has some pretty good tips that I haven’t tried, but that couldn’t hurt to try.
To be honest though, if you try these things and it sticks around after a week or so, you should go get some antibiotics from a doctor, because bacteria in the urinary system can be very hard to get rid of, and can possibly cause permanent damage. I had a bladder infection that I let go on for a couple months YEARS ago, and I still have pain when I get dehydrated.

what is the safest home remedy or Medicine for UTI, during pregnancy?

    • silverbull96 says:

cranberry juice and a warm bath. i would steer clear of most medicine for the simple fact that nothing has been shown to not cause birth defects.

      Do not use Azo!

Pregnancy—Studies have not been done in humans. Studies in mice, rats, and rabbits have shown that some sulfonamides cause birth defects, including cleft palate and bone problems. In addition, sulfa medicines may cause liver problems in newborn infants. Therefore, use is not recommended during pregnancy. Phenazopyridine has not been shown to cause birth defects in animal studies

I get frequent UTIs and no home remedy helps, they say this product D-Mannose works but it only helps prevent them not take them away. Going to the doctor is the best you can do, but while you wait take AZO, you can buy it at any store, it helps with pain and frequency to urinate, but it doesn’t get rid of the infection.

I’ve tried taking 3/4 tsp of baking soda mixed in water every 6 hours, didn’t work, I tried alkacelterz didn’t work, D-mannose does keep them from coming back you can buy it at any supplement store such as Vitamin Shoppe.

D-mannose is something your body produces to keep your urethra wall protected, things like caffeine can strip this, so taking a supplement of it daily keeps the wall protect and from causing a UTI. The only thing that can take an UTI away is medication from a doctor. I know how painful they are so I keep D-mannose on had at all times and AZO pills. This helps with pain but again doesn’t get rid of the infection.

What is a natural remedy for UTI?
I keep getting UTI’s and I can’t take any antibiotics they give me, they make me throw up. What can I do? I read drink Cranberry juice, but is that all? It seems too easy. But if it works I’ll give it a try.

    • Gethsemane Butler says:

Actually, there is no evidence that cranberry juice has magic properties that heals the UTI. The UTI is actually an infection of urine, basically the bladder’s equivalent of a bad sunburn. Drink any liquid and go to the bathroom often: the more you drink, the more you go to the bathroom, the faster you flush out the infectious E.Coli bacteria. Don’t hold it, either. E.Coli doubles its population every twenty minutes, which means more discomfort for you.

As for cranberry juice, it’s acidic and was thought to destroy the bacteria. The only thing is that it’s not acidic enough: you would have to drink GALLONS every day to get enough of an effect. It does help with UTI, though, because it’s another liquid you can drink.

what is a good home remedy for a UTI ?
I’m just wondering if there is a good way to clear the symptoms of a urinary tract infection

    • You've got a friend says:

There is NO home remedy for a UTI and anyone that tells you that Cranberry juice is good enough is putting your life in danger.

I get UTI’s all the time due to a neurogenic bladder and the first mistake I made was believing Cranberry juice was good enough. I did not pay attn to symptoms and I ended up in the hospital with a full blown kidney infection and septic – which means that is spread thru the blood stream
another example was the same sort of thing, my sister left it untreated and was in the hospial for a week, and the infection didnt want to heal. So they were talking surgery then and/or draining the pus thru surgery.Because she left it untreated! She now may need a kidney transplant and 1 yr later still having problems getting rid of it.
she then had to have a picc line pumping antibiotics for a month, she was literally knocking on deaths door.
      the pain is horrific

SO prevent all of this and just call for an antibiotic – it will save a lot of problems.

Is there anyway that i can cure UTI at home without going to the dotor?

    • JKL says:

You ought to see your doctor- a UTI can sometimes spread to the kidneys and very rarely cause permanent damage.

However, if you don’t want to see your doctor plenty of fluids will help you clear the infection.

Cranberry juice will help with discomfort

What is the very best rapid home remedy for a UTI?
Barton Publications on home remedies does report that there is a home remedy that works rapidly to
clear up a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) but the publication is 19.99 that I dont have and hope that someone will pass on the information if that is not too much to ask.

  12. Mrs. Rojas says:

Is there a natural remedy for UTI’s?
I have a uti again and I dont have insurance. I wanted to know if there was a natural remedy besides cranberry juice(which by the way doesnt do much).

    • ck says:

No, unfortunately, if cranberry juice doesn’t work for you (never worked for me either), then you need an antibiotic. You can get Azo at the store–it’ll help with the pain a little bit, but it won’t treat it. You need to get it taken care of soon, before it spreads to your kidneys. Do you have a free clinic you can go to just to get a prescription? Or do you have a close family doctor you can call and ask them to call in a prescription for you? The medication itself isn’t expensive. Just the doctor’s visit. But, you have to get it taken care of soon. Good luck.

what is the best home remedy for uti or bladder infection ?? Cranberry Juice of Pineapple Juice?

    • Potatomasher says:

Cranberry Juice. It makes your urine acidic therefore it increases the acidity of your urinary bladder, thus killing the bacteria there.

I have a bad UTI. I have no insurance so I need something cheap and even a home remedy would be great.?
Tight on cash so any home remedies suggestions would be great. Ive had many UTI’s so I have a prescription for Nitrofurantoin 100 mg and can get refills but to refill is $50 too much. What can I do? What can anyone suggest?

    • Losiglow says:

A great remedy is cranberry juice and D-mannose. Both act to disrupt the ability of the bacteria to cling onto the walls of the urinary tract. Cranberry juice alone is good, but the D-mannose is much more effective. You can find D-mannose at some drug and supplemental stores. GNC might have it. I’d call around. Also, as painful as it is to pee, you’ll want to drink plenty of water to help flush your system out.

If you’re having a fever or pain in the lower back you’ll want to seek medical help though. If the UTI has gotten into your kidneys it could be serious. But for most UTI’s (my wife gets them somewhat frequently), the cranberry and D-mannose works wonders.
